MHS sesi 2014/15

Assalamualaikum and hello dear readers!

Ah, I'm back at home again for the second time in 2 weeks. So as you guys might knew or not, on the 1st of September, I registered myself as a "Mahasiswi" at a local uni in the heart of KL. Alhamdulillah the registration processes went well and so glad that I got a room on the 1st floor just beside the bathroom. It certainly works as an advantage especially during the orientation week.

Since that Monday onward until the rest of the week, us freshmen had to attend Minggu Haluan Siswa (MHS) which was basically Orientation week crammed and packed with activities held by Pemudahcara Mahasiswa (PM) of our residential college. We woke up at 4.30 am everyday, morning assembly at 5 am, solat berjemaah at 6 am, aerobics at 6.30 am, breakfast at 7 am, gather at the dewan by 7.50 am and then proceed with the day's planned activities. Trust me, it involved a whole load of walking and running and listening and talking and cheering.

It was the most tiring week I'd ever had in a very long time. Activities usually ended at 2 am so on average we only get less than 4 hours of sleep daily. Despite being worn off and super sleepy, I find the whole week as informative, productive and very fun indeed! We get to meet new friends, do activities with them, learn our ways around campus, inject team-spirit within our college and gain knowledge from alumni who are currently great leaders of the country.

I was excited when Dato' Aznil Haji Nawawi came to talk about his experience as an alumni. I find his talk very very inspiring; how it all began, how a legend was made right there from my uni. Plus, he was a bachelor in Economics as well! Cool :D He was down-to-earth, loving, soft-hearted and funny at the same time. Alhamdulillah, got to see that side of him that night :) Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us.

Not to mention other tokohs that came by as well; YB Shabery Cheek, Mejar Faiz astronaut, pengacara tv Al-Hijrah, Ketua Setiausaha Negara, Menteri Di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, pembaca berita ntv7 and also dearest chancellor, professors and honorable lecturers.

So, to conclude; the MHS was no doubt very tiring but nevertheless very informative to all freshies. Thank you for all the hard work, seniors :) We really appreciate it.

P/s harap dapat improve food.
