Secret Admire?

I think this anonymous TwtMyFeeling thing is really ridiculous. Well, I understand the good intention of it to play cupid for people who would like to express their feelings to the people they admire.

At least, that is what they think the site is doing. But no sir, you are wrong.
Maybe 30% of it is true, honest people expressing their love and whatsoever. But for the remaining 70%, they're using it as a prank, to seek revenge, to expose people, to mock them, to humiliate them and God knows what else.

The victim? The people mentioned in the tweet. The ones who had no clue what's going on. The ones who were accused blindly. The ones who were fooled into thinking there's really someone out there who likes them. After I was mentioned more than a couple of times in the site, I decided to have a look of the site which I initially had no clue about.

And I found really cruel stuff in there. Defeats the whole purpose of the site huh.

To my "secret admire", I don't know who you are and what's your intention. You could be my friend, ex-friend, someone I know, someone I don't know, but whatever it is, if you truly "admire" me and would like me to notice you, do approach me.

If you know me, you would know that I am really friendly.

Alright, my second paper will begin in a few hours. So wish me luck, readers!
Have a nice day :)

Value of history

First finals

HI GUYS! Good morning!

December's almost over. My first semester exam is coming real soon.
REALLY SOON.
As in, tomorrow morning.
Great.
And it'll end on 6th January next year. Which is great. I get to enjoy my long holiday afterwards. Plus minus 2 months of sem break. Looking forward to that :D

So having said that, I'd like to apologize to everyone whom I might have wronged, know that it is far more my intention to do so. Do pray for me.

And also pray for pantai timur and all of the states affected by flood. May all of them be strong and persevere going through this hard time. Praying for the flood to end soon. Hopefully new year's gonna bring a fresh start to everyone.

Alright, I gotta get back to my studying. Good luck to all that'll be sitting for their finals soon. May Allah ease everything :)

"social" media?

Oh hi there!
Hmm. Macam ni lah.
Tercetusnya ilham untuk update blog kali ni setelah annoyed dgn whatsapp group yang dipenuhi sembang2 kosong yang ada kalanya tidak relevan. Most probably takda kena mengena dgn anda, tapi layan je lah ye~

I live by my principles.
I might not talk/chat much in social media. But that's not because I don't like to talk. If you know me, you'd know that I am completely the opposite. I love to talk.
And I love to talk in real life.
I find it way more lively. Alive. Real. Solid. Hardly to be misunderstood. Precise intonations, spontaneous reaction. THIS is communicating.

I seriously don't mind if you talk a lot online or in group chats, go ahead. But it saddens me to see what this world has become. Forget the fact that everyone is glued to their phone screens during family dinner &etc; because that's too common to even acknowledge.

I'm talking about failing to interact in real life, face to face; flesh to flesh.
Why do I say so?
I was trying to start a conversation with a friend who seemed to be really friendly in chat group, but then, I didn't know what happened to her friendliness in reality. She was too busy being "friendly" and "lively" online, she just lost a possible real solid friend in front of her eyes.

Isn't that sad?

I can't even hold a conversation for more than 10 minutes without the other person constantly replying to another person on the phone.

Is this how we make friends?
Is this how we "socialize"?

I think we're doing quite the opposite.

Move along

Moving forward, with smiles.
Just because you aren't happy, doesn't mean you have to be sad :)

Rapuh

Tidak sempurna
Dan tidak pernah berhenti mencuba.

Mungkin takkan sempurna,
Tapi sekurang-kurangnya berusaha.

Highlight of the week

Highlights of my week in uni :D

So on Wednesday I went for a Budget 2015 Forum with YB Datuk Chua, Deputy Minister of Finance held at Dewan Kuliah 3, Faculty of Economics and Administration (FEA). I find the forum very interesting and informative. It was a very calm, open-minded and professional talk. I enjoyed it and it felt very productive of my time :D

On Thursday, we finally had an outing together! The 4 of us managed to fit time in our schedules for a decent lunch at Burger King, KL Central. We travelled by bus to Station University and then took the LRT to our destination. It was nice to finally be able to sit down and have a proper chat with each other. Catch up and spend leisure time. These bunch are my FRIENDS :)

From left; Dila, Efy, Mas and Mora.

P/s pinky youalls :p
Pp/s attire solely for TITAS presentation, which apparently was cancelled later that evening =.=

Kim Yoon Ju

Yoon Ju is such a sweetheart! Thank you for the gifts you got me all the way from Korea. It was very thoughtful of you! XOXO :)

My 20th!

25th of Oct 2014 was my 20th birthday and this year I had an awesome celebration. We had a mini vacation at Awana Hotel Genting Highlands. We stayed for 2 days and 1 night, in rooms only beside each other (3 families). Although Genting themeparks are currently closed for renovation until 2016, we still had a good time riding the cable car, glow in the dark bowling and eat good food. And that night we had a nice decent dinner together at the hotel's restaurant. They sang me a birthday song and we took lots of pictures.
The dinner ended with all of us guessing the price of the dinner. It was fun. Thank you Mama and Abah for the gift of spending quality time with me :) I feel blessed to have such a great family.
Thanks to my cousins for celebrating with me, it never would have been the same without you guys.

And big thanks to everyone who wished and gave doas to me that day. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. Here are some photos. Enjoy and good night!

Could but highly unlikely

I believe that love exist.

But I don't think it's gonna happen to me.

How can anyone put up with me?

Convo stall

So as I promised, I will be updating on my recent project.

I am back from my mid-sem break. I had an awesome holiday and birthday vacay which I will update in the coming post.

Before mid-sem break, I was involved in a college project the whole week from Monday to Friday day in till day out daily. The event is with regards to Festival Konvokesyen UM (FESKUM). Every year, our college opens up a food stall at the FESKUM site. So this year was no exception. Our stall which was named La Phewitt 4th Bistro, sold various food and beverages.

For food, we had our signature Kerang Bakar Abang Sado, Chicken and Beef Satay, Nasi Minyak/Tomato with Ayam Masak Merah and Acar, Jagung Bakar, Buah Guava, Chocolate Moist Cake and Nasi Lemak in the morning.
As for drinks we had hot drinks; Coffee and Tea; and cold drinks; Choc Malt, Pink Guava, Asam Boi, Sarsi, Grape, Strawberry, Orange, Mango, Cincau etc.

I was one of the AJK under the Logistics and Inventory Unit. Our job was to count every single item/utensils i.e plates, cups, cutlery, pots, pans, jar, spatula and the list is endless; every single night after our stall is closed down usually at 11pm. During the day, our unit will help out all the other units with either cooking, promoting, cashier, wait tables, do the dishes and etc.

My schedule throughout the week was super packed I was lucky I could even breathe. I managed to not skip even a single class despite my exhaustion running the stall. So as a freshman, my medium of transport is mainly on foot. I walk everywhere. So let me give you a picture; the distance from my college to the stall site is twice the distance of my faculty from college. And I walked to and fro these 3 places every single day of that particular week.

So here's basically my schedule:
Monday: 2 lectures (1 test) & 2 tutorials (2 presentations), straight away duty at stall until 2 am back to college.
Tues: 3 hours of lecture > stall > class at Library > stall > 2 am college.
Wed: Stall > 1 lecture 2 tuto (1 presentation) > stall > meeting PEKUMA > 1 am college.
Thur: Stall > lecture > stall > lunch w Yoonju > Muzium Negara > Stall > Meeting FEA Night > Stall > 1 am college
Fri: Stall 8 am > Tuto 3-4pm > Stall until closing (post mortem) > Transferred everything back to college's dewan > sleep 2 am.
Saturday: HOME! :D

So itulah yang terjadi kepada saya.
Nevertheless, it was a wonderful experience filled with joy, laughter and smile. No regrets at all. It was awesome getting to know those people a lil bit better. Macam2 ragam, but that's the colour of life. Some vibrant, electric, pale, pastel, soft, loud but each special in its own way.

I might not talk very often. But I observe a lot. Thank you for the experience! :D
And thanks for reading ;)

Day 1 of Gerai Konvo La Phewitt 4th Bistro (Water Tribe)

Day 4 of duty (Air Nomad)

Lunch date with Efy, Linda and Yoonju. Had a great time. Kamsahamnida :D

In between class, duty at the stall and lunch date, 3 hours of my waking time that day was spent on doing Lawatan Ilmiah with my group mates for TITAS. We visited the Muzium Negara. What an adventure that day was.

Final day of stall duty. The look of my face pretty much has said it all, how exhausted I was the whole week.

I will write about my stall project soon. So meanwhile, KEEP CALM AND GET SOME REST!
